Two former Steelers, running back Jerome Bettis and center Dermontti Dawson, are among the 15 modern-era finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
This is the first year Bettis, the Steelers’ second all-time leading rusher (10,571 yards), is eligible for the Hall of Fame. Dawson, one of four finalists that played his entire career with the same team, was a finalist for the Hall of Fame last year.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2011 will be voted on Feb. 5, the day before the Super Bowl.
